continuing the excerpts from andres's dictionary of filipino culture and values:
"Pakiramdaman. This is the Filipino way of communicating feelings, emotions, reactions, reprimands, caution through body language. Filipinos are keen on body language--how a person says what he says, his whole composure, the tone of his voice--the totality of the person makes up the whole message. 'Pakiramdaman na lang' is a common expression among Filipino employees when their boss is not so communicative."
